Quotes of the day
So far, everything is going well. We were concerned about the weather conditions, but despite a bit of rain, the Opening Ceremony went very smoothly. From what I’ve seen, the organizing committee is very professional, well-prepared, and experienced in handling this kind of event: whatever we ask, they try to accommodate our requests. There are many athletes and students eager to compete, and I believe we will witness some great competitions in the coming days. For us at FISU, it’s not only about sport but also about education, socialization, and building networks between student leaders and participants. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students, not only to compete at an international level but also to meet peers from other countries. These events are truly invaluable for students.

I am truly honored and happy that our University Sports Association is actively involved in bringing these prestigious championships to Koper. These events offer valuable opportunities for our students to meet peers from around the world, and it’s important that we stay connected. Universities are places without borders, and I hope our students will enjoy this event together with their counterparts from across the globe.
